Unity Project HSV
WHEN: April 28th - 30th
WHERE: Panoply Arts Festival, Big Spring Park, HSV, AL
Huntsville’s Unity Project is the first in our city, but one of hundreds created in over 20 countries around the globe designed to celebrate our diversity and build stronger, more vibrant communities. The Unity Project is an interactive community work of art that helps to break barriers and stereotypes, celebrate our uniqueness and strengthen our ties to each other - ultimately helping people connect from all parts of Huntsville. Facilitated by the City of Huntsville’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, AshaKiran, Interfaith Mission Services and community volunteers, we believe that Huntsville is an inclusive community, where everyone has a place. Volunteers will assist festival-goers as they tie colorful yarn to each identifier, intertwining with others' to create a web of interconnectedness - we'll bring the yarn and the opportunity for an open, safe dialogue. So bring your friends and come meet your Huntsville neighbors!             #UnityProjectHSV     #StrengthInDiversity

Want to help volunteer for The Unity Project Huntsville? We need some volunteers to help with the project and to write names and words in other languages for extra fun. Sign up to volunteer and get into to Panoply for FREE!
